Over the past day, from November 22 to 23, the Russian army lost 1,420 soldiers on the front lines. Since the start of the full-scale war against Ukraine, Russia’s total military losses have reached 729,720 personnel, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to November 23, 2024, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 729,720 (+1,420) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 9419 (+20);
  • armored personnel vehicle - 19,192 (+36);
  • artillery systems - 20,760 (+24);
  • MLRS - 1254;
  • anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1,004;
  • aircraft - 369;
  • helicopters - 329;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 19,365 (+105);
  • cruise missiles - 2,764;
  • warships/boats - 28;
  • submarines - 1;
  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 29,850 (+73);
  • special equipment - 3,678 (+3).

As of the evening of November 22, a total of 187 combat engagements had been recorded on the front since the start of the day. The majority of the battles occurred in the Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, and Lyman directions.
