Russia's losses in Ukraine as of November 8: +1,600 troops, 118 drones

As of November 8, Russian military losses amounted to 1,580 soldiers. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down 118 drones and destroyed 49 armored combat vehicles, informs the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to November 8, 2024, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 705,880 (+1,580) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 9,233 (+9);
- armored personnel vehicle - 18,661 (+49);
- artillery systems - 20,226 (+32);
- MLRS - 1245;
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 996;
- aircraft - 369;
- helicopters - 329;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 18,526 (+118);
- cruise missiles - 2,631;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 28,495 (+84);
- special equipment - 3,602 (+6).
Situation on the frontline
As of the evening of November 7, 140 battles took place on the frontline in Ukraine. The situation in the Kurakhove direction remains tense, with the enemy concentrating its main offensive efforts there.
