Frontline situation
Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces significantly degraded Russia's air defense network in April 2026, destroying 38 systems worth about $1.1 billion. The strikes, carried out in coordination with the Deep Strike Center, targeted 25 surface-to-air missile systems—including Tor, Buk, Pantsir, and S-350, as well as 13 radar and electronic warfare assets such as Nebo-M and Zoopark.
Ukraine launched coordinated strikes on Russian naval and military assets, hitting a Kalibr-capable Karakurt missile ship, other vessels, and port infrastructure in Primorsk.
At the same time, Ukrainian drone units targeted air defense systems, radars, and command facilities across several regions, causing equipment losses, casualties, and disrupting Russian command and control.
