Russia's losses in Ukraine as of May 27: +990 troops, 17 artillery systems

Over the past 24 hours, from May 26 to 27, Russia lost another 990 soldiers in the fighting against Ukraine. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 17 Russian artillery systems, 222 drones, and 64 vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to May 27, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 982,840 (+990) Russian troops were eliminated
- tanks - 10,860 (+2)
- troop-carrying AFVs - 22,642 (+1)
- artillery systems - 28,337 (+17)
- MLRS - 1397
- anti-aircraft systems - 1,171
- aircraft - 372
- helicopters - 336
- UAV operational-tactical level - 37,853 (+222)
- cruise missiles - 3,265 (+9)
- warships/boats - 28
- submarines - 1
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 49,907 (+64)
- special equipment - 3,902.
Frontlines
As of yesterday evening, 141 combat engagements were registered on the frontline over the last day. Russia carried out the largest number of attacks in the Pokrovsk sector, namely 53.
"Russian occupants are highly active in the areas of Zoria, Oleksandropil, Malynivka, Yelizavetivka, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Kotlyarivka, Troitske, and Andriivka. 9 combat engagements are still ongoing," the General Staff reported.
