Russia's losses in Ukraine as of May 2: +1,110 troops, 50 artillery systems, 138 drones

Over the last day, from May 1 to May 2, the losses of the Russian army at the front amounted to 1,110 soldiers and 50 artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to May 2, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 954,300 (+1,110) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 10,741 (+9);
- troop-carrying AFVs - 22,369 (+5);
- artillery systems - 27,186 (+50);
- MLRS - 1,375;
- anti-aircraft systems - 1,152 (+4);
- aircraft - 370;
- helicopters - 335 units;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 34,539 (+138);
- cruise missiles - 3,196;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 46,882 (+132);
- special equipment - 3,869.
Russian air strikes
In the evening of May 1, Russians attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones on a large scale.
According to recent reports, about 30 people were injured in the Russian attack. The drones damaged infrastructure, a residential building, and a university building.
Meanwhile, at night, drones massively attacked Russian military infrastructure in Crimea. Air defense systems were heard firing, explosions were heard, and fires broke out in many settlements.
