Frontline situation
Russia has deployed the 90th Tank Division to the Pokrovsk area, using the city to mass troops and equipment for future assaults, while also setting up command posts in Myrnohrad. Ukrainian forces say Russia’s main objective remains capturing Hryshyne, where intense fighting and close-quarters combat continue as Ukrainian troops strike Russian forces with artillery, drones, and aviation.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian drones are increasingly striking Russian logistics deep behind the front line, including near Mariupol and along key supply highways in occupied territories. ISW says these long-range attacks could disrupt Russian offensives and support future Ukrainian counteroffensives by targeting areas previously considered safe for Russian logistics.
