Russia's losses in Ukraine as of May 10: 47 artillery systems, almost 1000 military
Ukrainian defense forces have eliminated another 980 Russian soldiers in the past day, bringing the total losses of the Russian army in personnel since the beginning of the large-scale invasion to approximately 479,710 soldiers. Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 47 enemy artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to May 10, 2024, are estimated as follows:
- personnel - approximately 479,710 (+980) individuals eliminated;
- tanks - 7,434 (+5) units;
- armoured personnel vehicle - 14,313 (+32) units;
- artillery systems - 12,387 (+47) units;
- MLRS - 1,062 (+4) units;
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 795 (+2) units;
- aircraft - 349 units;
- helicopters - 325 units;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 9,826 (+51) units ;
- cruise missiles - 2,192 units;
- warships/boats - 26 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- vehicles & fuel tanks - 16,691 (+73) units;
- special equipment - 2,031 (+4) units.
Frontline situation
Today, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in the morning briefing on May 10 that there were 95 clashes on the front line during the past day. Military command noted that the enemy continues to exert pressure on the Defense Forces in two directions in the Donetsk region.
The General Staff also reported that during the day, the aviation and missile units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck 1 radar station, 2 ammunition depots, 1 air defense system, and 17 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.
