Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine as of Friday morning, March 8, amount to 880 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine to 422,310. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 66 vehicles, 356 drones, and 25 artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from 02/24/22 to 03/08/24 are estimated to be

- armored combat vehicles - 12,798 (+19) units;
- artillery systems - 10,375 (+25) units;
- MLRS - 1011 (+2) units;
- air defense systems - 704 (+3) units;
- airplanes - 347 units;
- helicopters - 325 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 7998 (+35) units;
- cruise missiles - 1919 units;
- ships/boats - 26 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tankers - 13,598 (+66) units;
- special equipment - 1656 (+9) units.
Situation at frontline
In Ukraine, 86 combat engagements took place in the frontline over the last day.
Ukrainian missile troops destroyed 1 area of concentration of Russian personnel, 2 air defense facilities, 1 electronic warfare station, and 1 Russian fuel and lubricant depot.
