Over the past 24 hours, from March 5 to 6, Russian forces have lost 1,140 soldiers, 5 tanks, and 80 UAVs operational-tactical level in the war against Ukraine, according to the data from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to March 6, 2025, are estimated to be:

Forecast of situation at frontline and Russian airstrikes
According to analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Ukrainian Armed Forces achieved success in Toretsk and near Pokrovsk.
During the night, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with Shahed kamikaze drones.
In Kharkiv, an enemy drone hit a high-rise building in the Saltivka district, causing destruction and leaving casualties.
In Sumy, a Russian drone struck a warehouse, leading to a fire and one fatality.
Additionally, the night before, the Russian army launched a ballistic missile at Kryvyi Rih. Significant damage was reported at a five-story hotel, with casualties and injuries.
