Ukrainian defense forces have eliminated nearly 1200 Russian aggressors in the past day, bringing the overall casualties of the enemy army since the onset of the widescale invasion to about 417,950 soldiers. Additionally, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 42 pieces of enemy vehicles and 22 artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to March 4, 2024 are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel: About 417,950 (+1150) individuals;
  • Tanks: 6648 (+8) units;
  • APV (Armored personnel vehicles): 12,660 (+21) units;
  • Artillery systems: 10,210 (+22) units;
  • MLRS (Multiple launch rocket system): 1004 (+1) units;
  • Anti aircraft warfare systems: 698 (+2) units;
  • Aircraft: 347 units;
  • Helicopters: 325 units;
  • UAV operational-tactical level: 7845 (+2) units;
  • Cruise missiles: 1916 (+1) units;
  • Warships/boats: 25 units;
  • Submarines: 1 unit;
  • Vehicles and fuel tankers: 13,374 (+42) units;
  • Special equipment: 1621 (+1) units.

Frontline situation

According to reports from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there were 78 combat clashes throughout the country's frontlines during the past day.

Russian occupiers continue to exert pressure on the Avdiivka direction and have significantly intensified their activities on the Novopavlivka direction. Meanwhile, Ukrainian defense forces persist in holding positions and repelling assaults by occupying forces on the Kherson direction.
