Russian losses in the war in Ukraine as of Tuesday morning, March 30, amounted to 730 occupiers, with the total number of casualties in the Russian army since the invasion beginning reaching 441,520 soldiers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The overall Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to March 30, 2024 are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel: approximately 441,520 (+730) troops.
  • Tanks: 6,951 (+29)
  • APV (armored personnel vehicles): 13,284 (+20)
  • Artillery systems: 11,006 (+15)
  • MLRS (multiple launch rocket systems): 1,023
  • Anti-aircraft warfare systems: 736 (+1)
  • Aircraft: 347
  • Helicopters: 325
  • UAV operational-tactical level: 8,701 (+45)
  • Cruise missiles: 2,046 (+24)
  • Warships/boats: 26
  • Submarines: 1
  • Vehicles and fuel tankers: 14,670 (+25)
  • Special equipment: 1,814 (+7).

Frontline situation

As reported by the General Staff, there were 72 military clashes during the past day. The enemy is actively trying to advance on the directions of Lymanske, Avdiivka, and Novopavlivka.

According to the Chief Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, recently the number of positions regained by our soldiers exceeds the number of losses.

Meanwhile, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy does not rule out a new counteroffensive by Ukrainian military forces in the current year.
