Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 960 Russian invaders over the past day. The total casualties of the enemy army personnel since the beginning of the large-scale invasion have reached approximately 415,640 soldiers. Additionally, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed another enemy's aircraft, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The overall Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to March 2, 2024 are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel: around 415,640 (+960) individuals eliminated
  • Tanks: 6624 (+14)
  • APV (Armored personnel vehicles): 12,611 (+29)
  • Artillery systems: 10,153 (+47)
  • MLRS (Multiple launch rocket system): 1003 (+3)
  • Anti-aircraft warfare systems: 696 (+5)
  • Aircraft: 346 (+1)
  • Helicopters: 325
  • UAV operational-tactical level: 7829 (+35)
  • Cruise missiles: 1915 (+3)
  • Warships/boats: 25
  • Submarines: 1
  • Vehicles and fuel tankers: 13,267 (+61)
  • Special equipment: 1617 (+6)

Frontline situation

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, there were 82 combat engagements at the frontlines throughout the past day. The military command noted, that invaders shelled a record number of settlements with artillery.

Additionally, overnight, the aggressors once again attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones, deploying 17 Shaheds. Air defense forces successfully destroyed 14 enemy drones.
