Frontline situation

Overnight on March 16, a drone attack targeted Russia's Krasnodar region, striking an oil depot in the industrial zone of Labinsk. Residents reported explosions around 2 am and shared videos showing a large fire at the facility. Russian authorities confirmed the blaze, attributing it to debris from a downed UAV and saying there were no casualties.

Also, on the night of March 16, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck several Russian air defense systems and command posts in occupied territories, the General Staff reported. Ukrainian forces hit two TOR-M1 systems in the occupied parts of Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions and damaged an S-300 radar station in the Donetsk region. Command and observation posts in the areas of Stepne and Bahate were also targeted, while the extent of damage is still being clarified.
