Situation on frontline and Russian air attacks
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Ukrainian Defense Forces made gains near Toretsk and Pokrovsk, but Russia is applying pressure in four directions.
In Russia’s Kursk region, the Russian army has captured the city of Sudzha, while battles between the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the invaders continue in the border areas of the Sumy region.
Overnight, the aggressor once again launched a massive attack on Ukraine using Shahed kamikaze drones.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, enemy UAVs damaged critical infrastructure.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, drones damaged residential infrastructure, resulting in casualties.
Furthermore, Russian troops shelled Kherson, killing a local resident.
