Russian losses in the war in Ukraine as of Wednesday morning, March 13, stood at 980 occupiers, with the total number of Russian army losses since the start of invasion amounting to 426,870 military personnel. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 62 Russian vehicles, 32 artillery systems, and 22 drones, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to March 13, 2024 are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel - around 426,870 (+980) individuals eliminated;
  • Tanks - 6,752 (+5) units;
  • APV (Armored personnel vehicles) - 12,921 (+20) units;
  • Artillery systems - 10,554 (+32) units;
  • MLRS (Multiple launch rocket systems) - 1,017 (+1) units;
  • Anti-aircraft warfare systems - 715 (+2) units;
  • Aircraft - 347 units;
  • Helicopters - 325 units;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 8,205 (+22) units;
  • Cruise missiles - 1,919 (+1) units;
  • Warships/boats - 26 units;
  • Submarines - 1 unit;
  • Vehicles and fuel tankers - 13,932 (+62) units;
  • Special equipment - 1,699 (+8) units.

The General Staff reports that due to the constant receipt of refined intelligence data, there was a need to adjust some positions of the enemy's total losses - cruise missiles and tactical UAVs.

Frontline situation

According to the Institute for the Study of War, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold positions in the western part of Ivanovsk, which is near Bakhmut.

There were 91 combat clashes on the Ukrainian frontlines during the past day.

Rocket forces units struck 3 areas of enemy personnel concentration, an artillery unit, an ammunition depot, and 2 enemy air defense systems.
