The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated data on the Russian losses as of June 9, 2025.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to June 9, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 997,120 (+970) Russian troops were eliminated
- tanks - 10,915 (+4)
- troop-carrying AFVs - 22,759 (+11)
- artillery systems - 28934 (+42)
- MLRS - 1,411 (+1)
- anti-aircraft systems - 1,183
- aircraft - 414
- helicopters - 337
- UAV operational-tactical level - 39,818 (+167),
- cruise missiles - 3,315
- warships/boats - 28
- submarines - 1
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 51,348 (+123)
- special equipment - 3,911.
Over the past day, Russian troops struck Ukraine's frontline with one missile and 91 guided aerial bombs, 1,252 kamikaze drones, and fired 4,246 times at the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements.
Most of the fighting was recorded in the Kursk and Pokrovsk sectors.
