Russia's losses in Ukraine as of June 5: +930 troops, 39 artillery systems

Over the past 24 hours, from June 4 to June 5, the Russian army lost 930 soldiers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to June 5, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 992,750 (+930) Russian troops were eliminated
- tanks - 10,887 (+3)
- troop-carrying AFVs - 22,680 (+2)
- artillery systems - 28,750 (+39)
- MLRS - 1,406 (+4)

On Sunday, June 1, the Security Service of Ukraine struck several Russian airfields where strategic aviation was stationed.
According to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Head Vasyl Malyuk, the drone strikes hit 41 Russian strategic aircraft, including A-50, Tu-95, Tu-22 M3, and Tu-160.
Before being destroyed at their home airfields, the Russian army's Tu-95MS strategic bombers were equipped with Kh-101 cruise missiles to strike, probably at Ukraine.
Despite its participation in peace initiatives, Russia launches about 300 drones daily over Ukraine, and this pace, according to the British Ministry of Defense, may continue throughout the year.
