The Ukrainian military has released its latest update on Russian battlefield losses, detailing the estimated number of troops and military equipment eliminated over the past 24 hours.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to June 29, 2026, are estimated to be:

  • Personnel ‒ nearly 1,402,200 (+1,230)
  • Tanks ‒ 12,066 (+3)
  • Armored fighting vehicles ‒ 24,845 (+1)
  • Special equipment ‒ 4,366 (+6)
  • Vehicles and fuel tanks ‒ 113,612 (+477)
  • Unmanned ground vehicles ‒ 1,764 (+10)
  • Artillery systems ‒ 44,969 (+49)
  • MLRS ‒ 1,901
  • Air defense assets ‒ 1,454
  • Aircraft ‒ 436
  • Helicopters ‒ 353
  • UAVs (operational-tactical level) ‒ 379,224 (+1,724)
  • Cruise missiles ‒ 4,797 (+7)
  • Warships and boats ‒ 33
  • Submarines ‒ 2

Frontline situation

Ukraine's Defense Forces struck two oil refineries in Russia — in the Krasnodar region and the Yaroslavl region. The targets were located 300 kilometers from the front line and 700 kilometers from Ukraine’s border.

As the Ukrainian military says, strikes on Russian logistics in occupied Crimea are part of a multi-stage operation that has been ongoing for years. First, naval logistics were destroyed, then the railway ferries, while at the same time, air defenses and facilities in the land corridor were being destroyed
