Russia's losses in Ukraine as of June 23: Over 1270 soldiers and 61 artillery systems
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine from June 22 to June 23 amounted to 1270 soldiers. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian Federation has lost approximately 534,360 soldiers. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 15 combat armored vehicles and 61 artillery systems within the day, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to June 23, 2024, are estimated as follows:
- personnel - 534,360 (+1,270) individuals eliminated;
- tanks - 8,019 (+10) units;
- armored personnel vehicles - 15,398 (+15) units;
- artillery systems - 14,195 (+61) units;
- MLRS - 1,108 (+2) units;
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 863 (+2) units;
- aircraft - 359 units;
- helicopters - 326 units;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 11,355 (+50) units;
- cruise missiles - 2,321 (+13) units;
- warships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- vehicles & fuel tanks - 19,248 (+44) units;
- special equipment - 2,377 (+8) units.
Russian forces are pressing in the Donetsk region and may be preparing for attacks on another front.
According to the General Staff, the Russian forces have intensified assaults and attacks in the Toretsk direction in the Donetsk region.
