Russia's losses in Ukraine as of July 7: +1,150 soldiers and 40 artillery systems

As of July 6, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated 1,150 Russian occupiers. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the enemy has lost about 549,840 soldiers. Additionally, in one day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 16 armored fighting vehicles and 40 artillery systems, reports the General Staff of the AFU.
The overall combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to July 7, 2024, are estimated as follows:
- personnel - 550,990 (+1,150) individuals eliminated;
- tanks - 8,155 (+2);
- armored personnel vehicles - 15,645 (+16);
- artillery systems - 14,937 (+40);
- MLRS - 1,115;
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 879 (+1);
- aircraft: 360;
- helicopters: 326;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 11,862 (+53);
- cruise missiles - 2,352 (+1);
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles & fuel tanks - 20,103 (+50);
- special equipment - 2,495 (+16).
According to the calculations of the British newspaper The Economist, between 462,000 to 728,000 Russian military personnel have been "out of action" in Russia's war against Ukraine. The calculations are based on a leak of documents from the US Department of Defense.
