Russia's losses in Ukraine as of July 3: +1,000 troops and over 20 artillery systems

Over the past day, from July 2 to July 3, Russian military losses on the front line amounted to 1,000 soldiers and over 20 artillery systems, informs the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to July 3, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel – about 1,023,090 (+1,000) people wounded/killed;
- tanks – 10,986 (+1) units;
- troop-carrying AFVs – 22,936 (+5) units;
- artillery systems – 29,815 (+21) units;
- MLRS – 1,427 units;
- anti-aircraft systems – 1,191 (+1) units;
- aircraft – 420 units;
- helicopters – 340 units;
- UAV operational-tactical level – 43,098 (+85) units;
- cruise missiles – 3,436 units;
- warships/boats – 28 units;
- submarines – 1 unit;
- vehicles and fuel tanks – 53,887 (+101) units;
- special equipment – 3,922 (+1) units.
Night drone attack
During the night of July 3, Russian forces launched Shahed kamikaze drones toward Ukraine. A large-scale air raid alert was declared in the eastern and southern regions.
In particular, a group of drones carried out a massive attack on Odesa.
One of the enemy drones struck a multi-story residential building. A fire broke out at the site of the strike, injuring residents, including children.
