Russia's losses in Ukraine as of July 29: +1300 troops and 74 artillery systems

Over the last day, July 28, Russia lost 1310 soldiers and 62 vehicles in the war in Ukraine, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to July 29, 2024, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 576,000 (+1310) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 8356 (+12) units;
- armored combat vehicles - 16,103 (+8) units;
- artillery systems - 16,010 (+74) units;
- MLRS - 1129 (+2) units;
- air defense systems - 906 units;
- aircraft - 363 units;
- helicopters - 326 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 12,805 (+39) units;
- cruise missiles - 2,406 (+1) units;
- ships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tankers - 21,634 (+62) units;
- special equipment - 2690 (+19) units.
ISW said the Russian invaders may have lost their positions near Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region. At the same time, Russia has advanced in the Zaporizhzhia region and may be preparing to encircle the Armed Forces in the Donetsk region.
Last night, a series of explosions were heard in the suburbs of Kharkiv.
Russians also launched Shahed attack drones on Ukraine. In Kryvyi Rih, explosions were heard.
