Russia's losses in Ukraine as of July 27: +1,590 troops and 1,269 drones

Ukraine's military has published its latest update on Russian battlefield losses, detailing personnel casualties and equipment destroyed over the past 24 hours.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to July 27, 2026, are estimated to be:
- Personnel - nearly 1,440,580 (+1,590)
- Tanks ‒ 12,225 (+8)
- Armored fighting vehicles ‒ 25,032 (+13)
- Special equipment ‒ 4,472 (+7)
- Vehicles and fuel tanks ‒ 126,302 (+491)
- Unmanned ground vehicles ‒ 2,038 (+7)
- Artillery systems ‒ 46,831 (+37)
- MLRS ‒ 1,969
- Air defense assets ‒ 1,519 (+1)
- Aircraft ‒ 439
- Helicopters ‒ 354
- UAVs (operational-tactical level) ‒ 429,555 (+1,269)

Frontline situation
Ukraine's Defense Forces struck several Russian military and logistics targets overnight on July 26, including a Chornomornaftogaz facility in occupied Crimea, a drone relay station, a logistics bridge in the Donetsk region, a drone storage site, and a troop concentration area in the Luhansk region. Ukraine also confirmed a successful strike on the Tyumen oil refinery.
Meanwhile, Russian forces are preparing for a new offensive toward Dobropillia while diverting more resources to protect military logistics from Ukrainian strikes. Despite increased security and repeated assaults, Russian troops have so far failed to achieve their objectives.
