Russia's losses in Ukraine as of July 25: +1,450 troops and 1,596 drones

Russian forces continue to suffer losses on the battlefield, according to the latest figures released by Ukraine's military.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to July 25, 2026, are estimated to be:
- Personnel - nearly 1,437,550 (+1,450)
- Tanks ‒ 12,208 (+7)
- Armored fighting vehicles ‒ 25,011 (+11)
- Special equipment ‒ 4,462 (+8)
- Vehicles and fuel tanks ‒ 125,358 (+571)
- Unmanned ground vehicles ‒ 2,023 (+17)
- Artillery systems ‒ 46,724 (+78)
- MLRS ‒ 1,968
- Air defense assets ‒ 1,518 (+2)
- Aircraft ‒ 439
- Helicopters ‒ 354
- UAVs (operational-tactical level) ‒ 426,836 (+1,596)

Frontline situation
Ukrainian border guards from the Phoenix unit, supported by other forces, repelled a major Russian tank assault near Dobropillia, destroying nine tanks, two armored vehicles, and three Grad launchers while eliminating dozens of Russian troops.
Russia's daytime ballistic strike on a private training ground in Kyiv region killed 10 people and injured around 100 others. Two criminal investigations have been opened, including one into possible official negligence.
