The Russian army lost over 1,000 troops in the past day, along with tanks and artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to July 20, 2025, are approximately as follows:

  • personnel – about 1,041,990 (+1,040) people wounded/killed;
  • tanks – 11,035 (+3) units;
  • troop-carrying AFVs – 23,021 (+9) units;
  • artillery systems – 30,583 (+52) units;
  • MLRS – 1,443 (+1) units;
  • anti-aircraft systems – 1,198 (+1) units;
  • aircraft – 421 units;
  • helicopters – 340 units;
  • UAV operational-tactical level – 46,982 (+270) units;
  • cruise missiles – 3,515 (+23) units;
  • warships/boats – 28 units;
  • submarines – 1 unit;
  • vehicles and fuel tanks – 55,727 (+121) units;
  • special equipment – 3,932 units.

As a reminder, during the previous day (from July 18 to 19), Russian army losses in battles against Ukraine amounted to 1,120 soldiers. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 46 artillery systems, 163 drones, and 112 vehicles.

It is worth noting that since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russian army losses have exceeded 1 million people.
