Over the past day, from July 1 to July 2, Russian military losses on the front line amounted to 1,110 soldiers and 136 units of military equipment, informs the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to July 2, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • personnel – about 1,022,090 (+1,110) people wounded/killed;
  • tanks – 10,985 (+2) units;
  • troop-carrying AFVs – 22,931 (+3) units;
  • artillery systems – 29,794 (+40) units;
  • MLRS – 1,427 units;
  • anti-aircraft systems – 1,191 (+1) units;
  • aircraft – 420 units;
  • helicopters – 340 units;
  • UAV operational-tactical level – 43,013 (+73) units;
  • cruise missiles – 3,436 units;
  • warships/boats – 28 units;
  • submarines – 1 unit;
  • vehicles and fuel tanks – 53,786 (+90) units;
  • special equipment – 3,921 units.

Russian drone attacks

Overnight, Russian forces once again targeted Ukraine with Shahed kamikaze drones.

Around 3 AM Kyiv time, explosions were heard in Kharkiv.

As a result of the drone attack, a fire broke out at a car repair shop in one of the city's districts. Residential buildings were also damaged.

In addition, a drone strike in the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region killed one person and injured another. A fire erupted at the warehouse facilities at the impact site.
