Russia has already lost 1,037,460 soldiers at the front. Over the past day, Ukrainian forces eliminated another 1,170 soldiers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As of July 16, 2025, the total estimated combat losses of the enemy are:

  • personnel – about 1,037,460 (+1,170) people wounded/killed;
  • tanks – 11,025 (+3) units;
  • troop-carrying AFVs – 22,995 (+2) units;
  • artillery systems – 30,395 (+49) units;
  • MLRS – 1,440 units;
  • anti-aircraft systems – 1,196 (+2) units;
  • aircraft – 421 units;
  • helicopters – 340 units;
  • UAV operational-tactical level – 46,164 (+284) units;
  • cruise missiles – 3,491 units;
  • warships/boats – 28 units;
  • submarines – 1 unit;
  • vehicles and fuel tanks – 55,229 (+82) units;
  • special equipment – 3,932 units.

As of the evening of July 15, 148 combat engagements were recorded on the front line. The enemy showed the highest level of activity in the Pokrovsk direction.

Analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) also reported new attempts by the enemy to break through the defenses of Ukrainian forces.
