Russia continues to suffer heavy battlefield losses as Ukraine's Defense Forces target Russian troops and military hardware across the front line.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to July 12, 2026, are estimated to be:

Frontline situation

The Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out a new operation in the Sea of Azov, striking 21 vessels that Russia uses for military logistics and to circumvent sanctions.

Moreover, Ukraine's military struck the Russian combined arms training ground Kalmiuske in the Donetsk region. Enemy drone command posts were also struck near Krysanove in Russia's Belgorod region and Pershotravneve in the Zaporizhzhia region.
