Russia's losses in Ukraine as of January 10: +1130 troops and over 654 drones

As of January 11, Russian losses over the past day amounted to 1130 personnel. The Defense Forces also destroyed more than 654 Russian drones, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to January 11, 2026, are estimated to be:

The high figures indicate the large-scale losses suffered by the Russian army and demonstrate the effectiveness of Ukraine’s defense, particularly in the use of aviation, drones, and artillery.

By the evening of January 10, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had successfully repelled 139 assaults by Russian forces. The most intense fighting remained along the front line near Pokrovsk, where the highest number of enemy attacks was recorded over the day.
As of 4:00 PM on January 10, 2026, Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue to hold back Russian advances in several directions. A total of 68 combat engagements were recorded. Russian artillery and air strikes affected areas in the Sumy region and Chernihiv region, but Ukrainian troops are successfully repelling the attacks.
