Russia's losses in Ukraine as of January 25: +1,650 soldiers, around 140 units of equipment

From January 24 to 25, the Russian army lost 1,650 soldiers, 37 armored personnel vehicles, and 51 UAVs operational-tactical level on the front line, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to January 25, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 828 470 (+1650) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 9859 (+7);
- armored personnel vehicles - 20 545 (+37);
- artillery systems - 22 309 (+14);
- MLRS - 1,263;
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1,050;
- aircraft - 369;
- helicopters - 331;
- UAVs operational-tactical level - 23 213 (+51);
- cruise missiles - 3053 (+2);
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 35 071 (+79);
- special equipment - 3,715.
Situation at front and Russian shelling
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Ukrainian Armed Forces reclaimed lost positions near Toretsk. Meanwhile, the Russian army advanced on six fronts in the Donetsk and Kursk regions.
At night, Russia attacked Ukraine with Shahed strike drones.
In the Kyiv region, an enemy drone damaged a nine-story building, and a fire broke out at one of the enterprises due to falling debris.
