Russia's losses in Ukraine as of January 18: Around 800 troops and over 40 UAVs

Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine as of Thursday morning, January 18, amounted to 780 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion to 367,600. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 41 drones, 21 tanks, and 38 armored personnel carriers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 18.01.24 are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 373,600 (+780) Russians were killed;
- tanks - 6147 (+21) units;
- armored personnel carriers - 11,410 (+38) units;
- artillery systems - 8835 (+24) units;
- MLRS - 966 (+2) units;
- air defense systems - 653 units;
- airplanes - 331 units;
- helicopters - 324 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 6925 (+41) units;
- cruise missiles - 1818 (+1) units;
- ships/boats - 23 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tankers - 11,794 (+39) units;
- special equipment - 1,380 (+13) units.
Frontline situation
Ukrainian troops continue to expand their foothold in the Kherson direction and hold back the enemy in the Donetsk region. Over the past day, 78 combat engagements took place.
