Frontline situation
Ukrainian forces near Lyman in the Donetsk region destroyed a Russian multiple launch rocket system after it was deployed close to the frontline, the Ukrainian Ground Forces reported. Drone operators from the 63rd Mechanized Brigade also eliminated three cannons, two mortars, and several vehicles, including a UAZ and a truck. The military noted that Russian troops had rarely positioned MLRS units so close to the front before this strike.
Russian Lukoil oil refinery in Ukhta, nearly 2,000 kilometers from Ukraine, was hit in an early-morning drone attack, with explosions and a fire reported, according to Astra. Eyewitnesses said thick black smoke rose from the refinery site, identified as Lukoil-Ukhtaneftepererabotka.
