Russia's losses in Ukraine as of February 5: +770 troops, 60 artillery systems

Russia is continuing to lose personnel and military equipment along the front line. In the past day alone, 770 Russian soldiers were killed or wounded, according to Ukraine’s General Staff.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to February 5, 2026, are estimated to be:
- Personnel — approximately 1,243,840 (+770);
- Tanks — 11,642 (+5);
- Armored combat vehicles — 23,996 (+4);
- Artillery systems — 36,975 (+60);
- Multiple-launch rocket systems — 1,636 (+2);
- Air defense systems — 1,293;
- Aircraft — 435;
- Helicopters — 347;
- Operational-tactical UAVs — 125,094 (+1,351);
- Cruise missiles — 4,245;
- Ships/boats — 28;
- Submarines — 2;
- Automotive equipment and fuel trucks — 77,149 (+200);
- Special equipment — 4,062.
Frontline situation
North Korean military personnel are firing artillery and drones at Ukraine along with Russian troops. Soldiers from the DPRK are also involved in aerial reconnaissance and adjusting MLRS strikes.
Meanwhile, Ukraine's Leopard 2 tank crew eliminated the remaining enemy assault troops on the outskirts of Hryshyne near Pokrovsk.
