Frontline situation

Earlier, Ukrainian forces repelled a Russian assault in the Pokrovsk direction, destroying nearly four enemy platoons in a single day, according to the National Guard’s Spartan brigade. The attackers, who used fog and light vehicles to advance, suffered heavy losses, with most assault troops eliminated and multiple vehicles destroyed.

Yesterday, Russian forces launched a mechanized assault on the village of Hryshyne near Pokrovsk, using armored vehicles to intensify pressure after failed infiltration attempts. Ukrainian forces detected the attack in time and repelled it, destroying enemy armored vehicles and killing several Russian troops. The assault failed despite a partial breakthrough, and Russia was unable to exploit its advance. According to the 7th Corps, fighting in the area continues amid increased enemy activity and shifting tactics.
