Russia's losses in Ukraine as of February 20: +1,190 troops, 160 drones, 63 artillery systems

During February 19-20, the Russian army lost 1,190 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed a lot of equipment, including 63 artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to February 20, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 863,580 (+1,190) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 10,134 (+14);
- armored personnel vehicle - 21,112 (+14);
- artillery systems - 23,410 (+63);
- MLRS - 1,291 (+3);
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1,078 (+6);
- aircraft - 370;
- helicopters - 331;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 26,021 (+160);
- cruise missiles - 3,064;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- motor vehicles and fuel tanks - 37,961 (+136);
- special equipment - 3,752.
Situation at front
At 10 p.m. on February 19, 106 combat engagements occurred in the frontline. During the day, Russian occupiers launched a missile attack (two missiles), 64 air strikes, dropping 91 guided aerial bombs and using 1,122 kamikaze drones, and fired over 4,300 times at settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops.
Russia continues to attack intensively in the Pokrovsk sector. During the day, Russia carried out 26 offensives. In this sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 101 Russian troops and wounded 90 more.
