Russia's losses in Ukraine as of February 22: Aircraft and over 60 vehicles
Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine amount to more than 407,000 soldiers. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed one more aircraft, 63 vehicles, and 41 artillery systems over the day, according to the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Total enemy combat losses as of February 22, 2024 amounted to:

- ships/boats - 25 units
- submarines - 1 unit,
- motor vehicles and tankers - 12,924 (+63) units

Frontline situation
There were 64 combat engagements on the last day. In total, Russians launched 4 missile and 113 air strikes.
Over 120 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under enemy artillery fire.
According to Ivan Shevtsov, head of the press service of the 15th border detachment of the Steel Frontier Brigade, 40,000 Russian troops are confronting the Ukrainian Armed Forces as part of a powerful group of troops, but this group is not advancing.
