Against the backdrop of a steady stream of updated intelligence data, adjustments were made to the total losses of the Russian army, which allowed an update to the statistics, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to December 31, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • Personnel - approximately 1,207,910 (+1,000).
  • Tanks - 11,481 (+4)
  • Troop-carrying AFVs - 23,845 (+4)
  • Artillery systems - 35,642 (+33)
  • MLRS - 1,586 (+1)
  • Anti-aircraft systems - 1,266
  • Aircraft - 434
  • Helicopters - 347
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 97,684 (+552)
  • Cruise missiles - 4,136
  • Warships/boats - 28
  • Submarines - 2
  • Vehicles and fuel tanks - 72,247 (+127)
  • Special equipment - 4,035 (+1).

The Atesh partisan movement reported sabotage on the railway in Voronezh, which resulted in the destruction of a diesel locomotive used to transport military cargo to supply Russian forces in the Kupiansk direction, disrupting the logistics of the Russian forces.

The announced deployment of the Russian Oreshnik missile complex in Belarus is more of a demonstrative nature, as the revealed materials do not confirm the presence of full combat duty and do not show the key elements of the system, which casts doubt on the real readiness of the complex for use.
