Over the past day, from December 14 to December 15, the Russians lost another 980 soldiers on the front lines. The Armed Forces of Ukraine also destroyed 64 artillery systems and 653 drones, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to December 15, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • Personnel - approximately 1,189,470 (+980)
  • Tanks - 11,412 (+2)
  • Troop-carrying AFVs - 23,731 (+10)
  • Artillery systems - 35,105 (+64)
  • MLRS - 1,570 (+3)
  • Anti-aircraft systems - 1,261 (+2)
  • Aircraft - 432
  • Helicopters - 347
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 90,777 (+653)
  • Cruise missiles - 4,073
  • Warships/boats - 28
  • Submarines - 1
  • Vehicles and fuel tanks - 70,005 (+207)
  • Special equipment - 4,026

Situation on front line

According to Ukraine's General Staff, as of 10 p.m. on December 14, there were 148 combat clashes.

Russia carried out 42 air strikes, dropped 103 guided bombs, launched 4,003 kamikaze drones, and 3,703 shellings of Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas.

Ukraine's General Staff also reported that on the night of December 14, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Afipsky oil refinery, an oil depot in Uryupinsk, and many Russian targets in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Before that, on December 12, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in the Yaroslavl region of Russia. Strikes were also carried out on an ammunition depot and areas where occupiers were concentrated in the Donetsk region.
