Russia's losses in Ukraine as of December 7: +1,300 troops and 2 anti-aircraft warfare systems
The Defense Forces of Ukraine have eliminated an additional 1,300 Russian invaders over the past day, bringing the total number of enemy personnel losses to 751,910 military personnel. Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed two enemy air defense systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to December 7, 2024, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 751,910 (+1,300) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 9,514;
- armored personnel vehicle - 19,535 (+17);
- artillery systems - 21,055 (+12);
- MLRS - 1,253;
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1,022 (+2);
- airplanes - 369;
- helicopters - 329;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 20,042 (+19);
- cruise missiles - 2,857 (+2);
- warships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 30,948 (+49);
- special equipment - 3,633.
It should be recalled that in early December, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to reports in US media claiming that Ukraine had allegedly lost 80,000 military personnel on the frontlines. The head of state emphasized that this information is inaccurate and added that the number of fallen Ukrainian defenders is significantly lower.
Additionally, in mid-November, the British outlet BBC reported that the rate of Russian casualties in the war against Ukraine had reached record levels since the conflict began.
