Russia's losses in Ukraine as of December 12: 800 troops, tanks, and APVs
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Tuesday morning, December 12, amounted to 800 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion to 340,650. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 9 tanks, 19 armored personnel carriers, and 3 artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 12.12.23 are estimated to be

- tanks - 5664 (+9) units;
- armored combat vehicles - 10579 (+19) units;
- artillery systems - 8073 (+3) units;
- MLRS - 919 units;
- air defense systems - 605 units;
- airplanes - 324 units;
- helicopters - 324 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 6163 (+9) units;
- cruise missiles - 1596 (+10) units;
- ships/boats - 22 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 10650 (+14) units;
- special equipment - 1170 (+2) units.
The situation at the front
According to the General Staff, Ukrainian troops repelled 42 enemy attacks in the Avdiivka sector over the past day, and continue to conduct assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. Missile forces hit 3 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.
Also, according to a report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Ukrainian troops continue counteroffensive operations in the western part of the Zaporizhzhia region on December 11. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also continued ground operations in the area of Krynky on the left bank of the Kherson region.
