Ukrainian troops repelled 42 enemy attacks in the Avdiivka sector and continued assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. Missile forces hit 3 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

Over the past day, 89 combat engagements took place.

In total, the enemy launched 10 missiles and 18 air strikes and fired 60 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas.

Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Private houses and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

In addition, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine once again yesterday, using 15 Shahed-136/131 UAVs. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 9 attack UAVs.

The towns of Pobeda and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region suffered from air strikes.

More than 90 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

The situation at the frontlines

The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissia directions remains unchanged.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of our troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks in the vicinity of Synkivka and northwest of Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, our defenders repelled 8 enemy attacks in the areas of Spirne and Vesele in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 14 enemy attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka, Klishchiiivka, Andriivka, and Pivnichne in the Donetsk region.

Ukrainian defense forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy and consolidating their positions.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who is making attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.

Defense forces successfully repelled 42 enemy attacks in the areas east of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, south of Severne, south of Tonenke, Pervomayske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where our defenders repelled 14 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks in the areas north of Pryiutne and west of Novopokrovka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Ukrainian Armed Forces offensive

In the Melitopol direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continued to inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.

In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continued to hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, continued to conduct counter-battery combat, and inflicted fire on the enemy's rear.

Enemy losses

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 2 strikes on areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment.

Missile troops struck 3 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, 2 ammunition depots, 1 command post, and 1 artillery piece of the enemy.

The total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion is 339,850.
