Over the past day, from August 1 to 2, the army of Russian forces lost 1,010 soldiers and 170 units of military equipment on the front line, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to August 2, 2025, are approximately as follows:

  • personnel - about 1,055,210 (+1010) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 11,068;
  • troop-carrying AFVs - 23,069;
  • artillery systems - 30,982 (+38);
  • MLRS - 1,452 (+1);
  • anti-aircraft systems - 1,203;
  • aircraft - 421;
  • helicopters - 340;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 49,196 (+139) units;
  • cruise missiles - 3,551;
  • warships/boats - 28;
  • submarines - 1;
  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 57,024 (+130) units;
  • special equipment - 3,935.

Russian air attacks

Over the past day, there were 130 combat engagements on the front line. The enemy attacked in 13 directions.

On the evening of August 1, a Russian Molniya drone struck Kharkiv. As a result of the attack, six people were injured, including three children.

In the Sumy region, enemy drones targeted energy infrastructure facilities. Power outages occurred in the regional center.
