Russia's losses in Ukraine as of August 14: +1,240 troops and 57 artillery systems

Over the last day, from 13 to 14 August, the Russians lost 1,240 soldiers, 57 artillery systems, and 5 multiple rocket launchers at the front, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to August 14, 2024, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 594,400 (+1,240) troops;
- tanks - 8476 (+21);
- armored combat vehicles - 16,402 (+17);
- artillery systems - 16,821 (+57);
- MLRS - 1151 (+5);
- air defense systems - 921 (+1);
- aircraft - 366;
- helicopters - 328;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 13,548 (+57);
- cruise missiles - 2,426;
- ships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- motor vehicles and tankers - 27,710 (+61);
- special equipment - 2813 (+7).
According to ISW, the Ukrainian Defense Forces advanced in the south over the past day and improved their strategic position in the Donetsk region.
Russians intensified their attacks in the Prydniprovskyi sector.
Last night, the Russian military again attacked Ukraine with attack drones. Alerts were raised in several regions, and air defense systems were deployed.
