Russia's losses in Ukraine as of August 11: +1,190 troops and 1,578 drones

Russian forces endured another costly day on the battlefield, Ukraine's Ministry of Defense said, publishing updated figures on enemy personnel and equipment losses. The latest estimate comes amid sustained fighting and continued Russian attempts to advance in eastern Ukraine.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to August 11, 2026, are estimated to be:
- Personnel - nearly 1,460,400 (+1,190)
- Tanks ‒ 12,259 (+4)
- Armored fighting vehicles ‒ 25,120 (+4)
- Special equipment ‒ 4,514 (+3)
- Vehicles and fuel tanks ‒ 132,543 (+307)
- Unmanned ground vehicles ‒ 2,190 (+9)
- Artillery systems ‒ 47,713 (+44)
- MLRS ‒ 2,020 (+1)
- Air defense assets ‒ 1,560 (+2)
- Aircraft ‒ 439
- Helicopters ‒ 354
- UAVs (operational-tactical level) ‒ 454,572 (+1,578)
- Cruise missiles ‒ 5,007

Frontline situation
Ukrainian Defense Forces have cut off Russian military logistics on the Kinburn Spit in the Mykolaiv region. The country's Armed Forces report that the peninsula is under complete fire control, while Russian forces are trying to abandon their positions due to shortages of ammunition, fuel, and food.
Meanwhile, Ukraine is preparing for the possible return of Russian troops to the Chornobyl zone, as happened at the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022
