Frontline situation
Defense Forces units have forced the enemy to slow its advance in the Donetsk region, prompting Russian troops to intensify activity toward Hryshyne and Rodynske. It is noted that the Ukrainian army is detecting and destroying enemy artillery - over the past day alone, five Russian artillery units were damaged and destroyed in the area.
Besides, Ukraine's commander-in-chief, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reports that Russian forces have been trying to capture Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region for nearly a year. Still, Ukrainian forces have successfully repelled all enemy attacks.
