Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Saturday morning, April 6, amount to 790 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine to 446,690. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 38 armored combat vehicles and 41 artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from 24.02.22 to 06.04.24 are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 446,690 (+790) Russian invaders were killed;
  • tanks - 7057 (+24) units;
  • armored combat vehicles - 13,497 (+38) units;
  • artillery systems - 11,262 (+41) units;
  • MLRS - 1032 (+3) units;
  • air defense systems - 749 (+2) units;
  • airplanes - 347 units;
  • helicopters - 325 units;
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 8885 (+48) units;
  • cruise missiles - 2060 (+1) units;
  • ships/boats - 26 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • motor vehicles and tankers - 14,992 (+70) units;
  • special equipment - 1,854 (+5) units.

Situation at the front

According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Russian forces are barely holding their positions in Semenivka and Berdychi due to the superior capabilities of Ukrainian drones. Russian forces seem to have intensified their efforts to the west of Bakhmut, aiming to seize Chasiv Yar.

In Ukraine, there were 80 military clashes on the front line during the day. Defense Aviation struck targets in 11 personnel concentration areas and 1 enemy anti-aircraft missile complex.
