Frontline situation

Ukrainian forces carried out a series of deep strikes against Russian military assets, including a hit on the Bashneft–Novoyl oil refinery in Ufa, about 1,400 km from the border, where a fire broke out. At the same time, Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces destroyed a Buk-M1 air defense system, fuel tankers, and logistics depots in the occupied Luhansk region, further weakening Russian capabilities. The targeted sites are key to sustaining Russia’s military operations, with the full extent of the damage still being assessed.
