Frontline situation

On the night of April 2, a drone attack sparked a major fire at an oil refinery in Ufa, Russia, with explosions reported and air alerts briefly halting airport operations.

Local authorities said several drones were intercepted, with debris causing a blaze in the industrial zone, but no casualties.

Ukrainian-linked sources claim the strike hit a key Bashneft refinery unit about 1,400 km from Ukraine, potentially damaging critical processing infrastructure.
