Ukrainian defense forces eliminated over a thousand Russian occupiers in the past day. Additionally, the Ukrainian military destroyed 26 tanks, 49 armored personnel vehicles, and 44 artillery systems within the enemy's army, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to October 13, 2023, are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel: Approximately 285,920 (+1030) troops eliminated,
  • Tanks: 4,931 (+26),
  • APVs: 9,313 (+49),
  • Artillery systems: 6,807 (+44),
  • MLRS: 808,
  • Anti-aircraft warfare systems: 546 (+1),

  • Helicopters: 316,
  • UAVs operational-tactical level: 5,264 (+17),
  • Cruise missiles: 1,531,
  • Ships/boats: 20,

  • Vehicles and fuel tanks: 9,203 (+33),
  • Special equipment: 967 (+1).

Frontline situation

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning summary reports that there were 64 combat clashes on the fronts in the past day. Our defenders repelled 20 enemy attacks near Avdiivka. Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers are advancing in the Melitopol and Bakhmut directions.

The defense forces' aviation conducted 12 strikes on the areas of enemy personnel, weaponry, and military equipment concentration, 3 strikes on command posts, and 4 strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile complexes. Additionally, units of the rocket forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the area of enemy personnel, weaponry, and military equipment concentration, 10 artillery pieces, and an occupant command post.
