A drone hit a school building in Kyiv, according to a post by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
"A UAV hit a school building in Kyiv’s Solomianskyi district. A fire broke out. The children were in the shelter. Emergency services are heading to the scene, Klitschko wrote.
The report did not mention any casualties.
Police released photos showing the aftermath of the strike on a school in Kyiv’s Solomianskyi district.

"According to preliminary information, there are no casualties. At the time of the attack, more than 100 students and around 60 school employees were in the shelter. The strike damaged the facade of the school building at the level of the third floor," the statement said.
A fire broke out
During the night of October 1, drones attacked Kyiv.
In the Solomianskyi district, a room on the first floor of a 16-story building caught fire, while a warehouse was on fire in the Obolonskyi district. The injured person was handed over to medics.
As reported by RBC-Ukraine, on the evening of September 30, the enemy hit warehouse premises in the Obolonskyi district of Kyiv.
After 10 p.m. Kyiv time, the Air Force began warning about jet-powered drones flying toward the capital from several directions.
